The website order experience was acceptable in that the website was up to take my order. After the order was placed, my card was charged and I received no updates such as shipping status or progress completing my order. I called Foam Touch and learned that my order was out of stock. I also learned from the call that my order could be shipped immediately if I made an adjustment from MDF to HDF, which was a trivial change for my use case. It would have been helpful if Foam Touch had contacted me to let me know my order’s status before I called them. Even better would have been if Foam Touch had told me that my order would take a week less time to ship if I ordered HDF instead of MDF. When my order did arrive, it was cut to the requested size and it met my use case.
